Our recent Christmas bazaar was a great success, raising £1829.07 towards church funds. We were delighted to welcome the choir from Christ Church Junior School, who opened the bazaar with a medley of carols. Members of the congregation, young and old, manned the stalls dotted around the Jubilee Rooms and the church itself. They were kept busy all afternoon selling cakes, books, crafts, plants, Fairtrade goods, jams and pickles, toys, and also running the tombola and the raffle. We were very pleased to welcome members of the community into our church to join us for refreshments .
Our thanks go to all who gave their time, money, and donations to make the bazaar such a success – a wonderful family day to launch our Advent celebrations!
